- 5W Public Relations Qualified
Three different counts sit on the site: six platforms on the GEO summary card, five in the recurring published research, and seven engines 5W says it can optimise for. The measured core is the five that recur everywhere.
Source retrieved 2026-09-10
- Addlly AI Qualified
Eight engines are advertised as scanned, but Basic and Pro run only five of them; the cap disappears only on the custom-quoted Enterprise plan.
Source retrieved 2026-09-10

Source retrieved 2026-09-12
- AEO Engine Yes
Coverage is stated as four engines identically on every tier; what changes with price is the prompt ceiling, from 150 up to 1,000, not the engine list.
Source retrieved 2026-09-10
- AEOlens Yes
Coverage is stated as five engines on both paid tiers with no per-tier engine gating, but the two published lists differ: plan cards name AI Mode and AI Overviews, product pages name Claude and Grok.
Source retrieved 2026-09-19

Coverage is a flat four assistants on every tier with no engine used as an upsell, and re-baselining inside 48 hours when any of them ships a major model release.
Source retrieved 2026-09-08
- Ahrefs Brand Radar Yes
Six platforms sit in the instant index; custom prompts add Claude at eight checks per update, and Grok is listed but currently collecting no new data, so coverage differs by tracking path.
Source retrieved 2026-09-19

Coverage is six engines total but rationed by tier: two on Free, four on Starter, five on Pro, all six only from Business up.
Source retrieved 2026-09-19
- AI Visibility Audit Qualified
Four surfaces in total: ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Mode through a paid Bright Data account, and Google AI Overview through DataForSEO, which is all you get if you skip Bright Data. There are no vendor tiers, so coverage is bounded by which third-party keys you buy.
Source retrieved 2026-09-16

Coverage is six named engines with no tier gating at all: depth buys more buyer scenarios, never additional platforms.
Source retrieved 2026-09-20

The vendor states coverage as two engines today, ChatGPT and Google AI Overview, with no per-tier engine differences published and the word 'currently' signalling the list may grow.
Source retrieved 2026-10-03

Source retrieved 2026-09-12
- ApexGEO Yes
The vendor states seven live core engines plus Copilot, with six further models in roll-out; frequency rather than engine count is what the tiers gate.
Source retrieved 2026-09-20
- Archytas AISpy Yes
Coverage is stated as four LLM providers plus Google's two search surfaces through DataForSEO, identical for every user because there is only one free tier; within each provider you choose models from a list refreshed from their API.
Source retrieved 2026-09-13

The vendor states eleven models on Starter and prints the list on the plan card; the free tier carries five of them and more models are offered on request.
Source retrieved 2026-09-20
- auto-geo Yes

Source retrieved 2026-09-12
- BabyLoveGrowth Yes
Coverage is stated as a hard count: three models, ten active prompts, identical on both paid plans.
- Big Leads Qualified
Three engines named, then an open 'and other answer engines'; no per-tier engine limits exist because this service carries no published plans.
Source retrieved 2026-09-02
- Bloomiro Yes
Six surfaces are supported and all of them are included on every plan, so engine access is not tiered; only the default pre-selection is narrower at four.
Source retrieved 2026-09-21
- Brandlight Yes
Seven engines are named outright, but two other vendor pages claim 11 (soon 12) and 13 tracked engines without listing the extras, so the totals conflict.
Source retrieved 2026-09-09
- BrightEdge Yes
Coverage is stated per module: AI Catalyst names ChatGPT, AI Overviews, Gemini and Perplexity, Instant adds AI Mode, and no tier limits are published.
Source retrieved 2026-09-11

Coverage is stated twice and the two statements differ: the plans meter engines as a selectable count, two on Starter, four on Growth and all seven on Enterprise, while the FAQ names only five of those seven and the published methodology runs four.
Source retrieved 2026-09-08

Source retrieved 2026-10-03

The vendor states coverage twice and the statements disagree: CheckThat says tracking is limited to four engines, while the paid platform's docs name AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Claude plus AI Mode in one report. No per-plan engine limits are published.
Source retrieved 2026-09-11

Three engines are live with three more announced, and plans cap engine count at three, four or five without naming which engines each tier unlocks.
Source retrieved 2026-09-21
- CiteMentor Qualified
The shared feature table states five engines and growing, while the platform page names six and each plan card prints only four, so the count depends on the page you read.
Source retrieved 2026-09-24

Coverage depends on the module: Citation Visibility and Query Intelligence offer ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, while Brand Perception is Gemini-only with the other three listed as coming soon.
Source retrieved 2026-09-03
- Cognizo Yes
Vendor names nine engines but caps paid self-serve tiers at five chosen platforms from a six-engine menu; all platforms need Enterprise.
Source retrieved 2026-09-21

Seven models charted; buyer picks which engines to spend AI Search Credits on.
- Dageno Yes
Every paid tier carries the same seven platforms with no per-model or per-region surcharge: ChatGPT, Grok, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overview and Copilot; Amazon Alexa is quoted only as a custom integration.

Source retrieved 2026-09-23

Coverage is stated as one sentence naming four engines, with no tier limits attached; the MCP tool description adds Claude to that list, so the two statements disagree.

Coverage is tiered: Free monitors three named engines, Starter six, Growth and above all supported engines, reaching ten including Grok and Mistral.
Source retrieved 2026-09-13

Source retrieved 2026-09-26
- Epovest Yes
Six engines, chosen per tracker with no tier gating: every engine costs $0.10 a check except Claude and Grok at $0.20, so coverage is bounded by budget, not by plan.
Source retrieved 2026-09-23
- Evertune Yes
Eleven named surfaces with no tier gate stated on coverage: the Pro plan already buys prompts across all eleven models, and the FAQ enumerates them.
Source retrieved 2026-09-12

Fifteen engines are listed, but only three run in parallel on any plan including Enterprise, which caps at eleven; further models are booked on top.
Source retrieved 2026-09-08

Source retrieved 2026-09-08

Five engines on every paid tier with no per-tier engine gating; the free workspace gets Perplexity alone, and each engine costs three or five tokens per prompt.

The vendor publishes engine coverage per tier rather than as one list: two engines on the entry plan, three on the middle plan, five on the third, and all five on Enterprise.
Source retrieved 2026-10-03

- geoSurge Yes
Three engines on every tier including Free, with the vendor promising additional models on demand for Enterprise or through your own keys.
Source retrieved 2026-09-24

Source retrieved 2026-09-14

Coverage is tier-gated and enumerated per column: two engines self-hosted, four on both paid self-serve plans, ten only on quoted Enterprise.
Source retrieved 2026-09-25

Source retrieved 2026-09-15
- Growleads Yes

Source retrieved 2026-09-27
- HITZ GEO Page Audit Qualified
This free tool tracks zero engines; the agency states a fixed set of five, while its retainer page names only four and a client case adds Grok, so the coverage claim varies by page.
Source retrieved 2026-09-17
- HubSpot AEO Yes
Three engines on every tier - ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini. The Enterprise tier raises prompt and answer limits (50 prompts daily, 5,000 answers monthly), not the engine count.
Source retrieved 2026-09-02

Six engines are named site-wide, but the self-serve plans meter models: 3 on Starter, 4 on Growth, 5 on Scale; the agency plan claims all of them at $299/month/site.
- iPullRank Qualified

Source retrieved 2026-09-03

The vendor states coverage precisely: five engines included on every tier, seven more sold as per-plan add-ons, and a further set configured only via sales.

- LLMrefs Yes
Ten engines, all included on the single plan with no per-engine fee; results can be filtered by engine and by country.

Source retrieved 2026-09-26
- Local Falcon Yes
Five AI platforms plus Google Maps and Apple Maps; every plan from Starter up carries the AI Visibility Tracking row, so coverage is not tier-gated.
- Maple Labs Yes
Coverage is stated as exactly three assistants on every mission, with no tier-dependent engine limits published anywhere.
Source retrieved 2026-10-03

Source retrieved 2026-09-27

Six classic search engines and six AI surfaces, identical on every tier; only prompt and answer volumes change between plans.
Source retrieved 2026-09-28

Seven engines exist in total but only four are live by default on any plan; Claude, Gemini and Copilot must be requested, and the tier does not change that split.
Source retrieved 2026-09-28

One client engagement documents six tracked engines by name, but the agency publishes no standard coverage list or tiering, so coverage appears scoped per engagement rather than fixed.
Source retrieved 2026-09-28

Coverage is a fixed set of five models for the diagnostic benchmark, though the ongoing retainer tracking is offered as open-ended rather than limited to those five.
Source retrieved 2026-09-03
- Orchly Qualified
Coverage is split commercially: three engines come with every plan while four more cost extra on both self-serve tiers, so the advertised breadth is not what the entry price buys.
Source retrieved 2026-09-29

Seven engines total, but only four come with the plan: Claude, Gemini and AI Mode are priced as add-ons on every self-serve tier.
Source retrieved 2026-09-29

Source retrieved 2026-09-03
- Percepture Qualified
The vendor names five engines plus an open-ended 'other LLMs' and states no per-tier engine limits anywhere in the four-plan comparison table, so coverage breadth is asserted rather than enumerated.
Source retrieved 2026-09-29
- Prizvox Yes
Coverage is a closed set of four chat engines granted identically on all three plans, so buying up adds sites and seats but never engines.
Source retrieved 2026-09-29

- Rankability Yes
Ten AI answer engines named; three included on Starter, five on Core, eight on Team, extras a la carte.

Seven systems are supported and each can be toggled per project, but plans cap how many you may monitor: 5 on Essential, 7 on Professional, 10 on Business, unlimited on Agencies.
- RankLens Yes
The API enumerates 27 selectable engines across seven model families; one engine is chosen per report run, and report columns appear only where data exists.
- Rank Prompt Yes
Six engines on every plan, but metered in two classes: four bundled at one credit per prompt, Gemini and Grok charged one credit each on top.
- Rankscale Yes
The vendor claims 17+ engines with no per-engine tiering, but the list is open-ended ('and more') so the exact roster is not fully enumerated anywhere.
Source retrieved 2026-09-30

The vendor states a closed set of four engines for every customer with no tiering by engine count, and the refund is settled against being mentioned on at least two of those same four.

Source retrieved 2026-09-15
- SE Visible Yes
Coverage is stated as a flat five engines with no tier gating: the same engine line appears on the $99, $189 and $355 cards, so paying more buys prompts and projects, not engines.
Source retrieved 2026-09-17
- Siege Media Qualified
Monitoring is done with third-party tools chosen per client rather than a fixed engine list of its own.
- Similarweb AI Search Intelligence Yes
Four engines for answer/mention tracking; three more added for referral-traffic measurement only.
- Sleepwalker AI Yes
Four platforms are selectable per probe with per-model pricing: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Grok and Gemini. No tier gates the list because there are no tiers.
- Surfer Yes
Five engines, scraped from the live interfaces rather than APIs; one prompt is checked across all five at once, but Standard is limited to ChatGPT
- Trakkr Yes
Both self-serve plans carry the identical eight-engine set with no per-model pricing, so tier choice changes brands and seats rather than model coverage.
Source retrieved 2026-09-16

Source retrieved 2026-09-17

Source retrieved 2026-09-02

Coverage is metered by plan: free audits query ChatGPT only, Starter four platforms, Pro five, Brand and Agency all six, Enterprise up to eight unnamed.
Source retrieved 2026-09-18
- Vismore Yes

Source retrieved 2026-09-02

Coverage is exactly five engines, but the cheapest brand plan buys only three of them; agency plans let you choose one to five and bill credits per engine.
Source retrieved 2026-09-18
- WhyIQ AI Radar Yes

- Writesonic Qualified
Ten platforms in total, but self-serve tiers see only ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews.
Source retrieved 2026-09-02
- ZipTie Yes
Three engines, identical on the trial and all three paid tiers: one AI Search check spans all of them, so engine access is not tier-gated; only the number of checks is.
The population
118 listings in this index are Published. This is the population as of 2026-10-03. 118 of the 118 published listings in this index carry a settled answer for “Engines tracked”. That row asks: Which AI answer engines does it actually watch? Every listing in the index is settled on this row, so nothing is left out.
Findings
-
81 of the 118 settled listings answer “Yes” for “Engines tracked”. That is 69% of the settled set.
-
35 of the 118 settled listings answer “Qualified” for “Engines tracked”. That is 30% of the settled set.
-
1 of the 118 settled listings answer “No” for “Engines tracked”. That is 1% of the settled set.
-
1 of the 118 settled listings answer “Does not apply” for “Engines tracked”. That is 1% of the settled set.
1 of those yes answers is Rankscale, which still answers yes for “Engines tracked”. Its listing carries the stored answer and links to the source recorded for it. This is one worked example, not an independent audit of every source in the census.
What we counted, and how
Each figure above is a count over the “Engines tracked” row of the listing datasheet, taken from the same stored answer the listing page renders. The denominator is the 118 listings whose answer is settled, meaning one of yes, qualified, no, does not apply, not established. On this row that is the whole index, because every listing has a recognised stored answer. Every number here is stored with the read-only query that reproduces it and re-run every sixty seconds against the live corpus, so a figure that stops reproducing surfaces as drift rather than as a stale sentence nobody notices. Our full method covers how a datasheet row is settled in the first place.
Limitations
This counts stored datasheet answers, not independently tested capabilities. A sourced answer can record a vendor statement or our reading of published evidence; this census does not re-fetch those sources. “Not established” means we have not established an answer. That can reflect vendor nondisclosure, blocked evidence, or unfinished research, not a no. An absent or unrecognised answer is excluded rather than treated as a researched finding. The figures are restated when the stored corpus changes; the date above is the count used for this published version, not a new verification of the vendors.
