Five routes, each going somewhere different, each with a time we hold ourselves to. A real person reads every one of them.
Before you write
- Want to be listed? Use the submission form. It is free, and email is slower.
- Found an error? The correction route below is the fastest way to get it fixed, and it works whether or not you are connected to the tool.
- We never charge to correct, update or remove something that is wrong.
Routes
Something on this site is wrong
A wrong price, a feature we credited that does not exist, a company we described as active that has shut down. Point at the page and tell us what is wrong — you do not need to prove it, we will check.
We reply within 3 working days. A confirmed factual error is corrected and the change is recorded publicly.
You run a listed tool
Updates, claims and delisting requests all start here. We do not require you to claim a listing before we will correct it, and asking for a change never costs anything. What we will and will not remove is stated in the editorial policy.

Your personal data
Ask for a copy of what we hold, a correction, a portable export, or deletion. We will ask you to confirm control of the email address on the account and nothing more — we do not require ID for a request we can verify from the account itself.
We respond within 30 days, which is the statutory deadline and not a target.
A security problem
Report it privately here first and give us a reasonable window to fix it. We will not pursue anyone who reports a vulnerability in good faith, does not access other people's data, and does not degrade the service. There is no bounty programme, and we will say so upfront rather than let you assume one.

Anything else
Press, partnerships, sponsorship, or a question that does not fit the routes above.
We reply within 5 working days.
What we will not do
We will not remove an accurate, sourced finding because a company would prefer it were not published, and we will not sell a correction, a rating or a removal at any price. If you want something taken down, the grounds we do act on, and the ones we do not — are listed in the editorial policy, so you can see the answer before you write.

Every message CitedIndex sends carries a one-click unsubscribe, and you can change or stop everything from the preferences pagewithout writing to us. Unsubscribing is honoured immediately and permanently; we keep the suppression entry precisely so it stays honoured.
Who you are writing to
Cited·Index is published independently and is not a registered company, so there is no entity or registration number to give you here. Mail to the addresses above reaches the people who run it.
What we do with anything you send us is covered by the privacy policy.
