What this collection covers

They differ in three ways: the plan you need before AI Overviews is included (the entry plan, or only Enterprise), whether they read the answer in a real browser or through an API, and which other Google surfaces come with it, such as AI Mode and the classic results. The list is ordered by how fully, and how cheaply, each one covers AI Overviews.

Writesonic names AI Overviews in its tagline, but its pricing puts the full set of 10 platforms on Enterprise only, so it is left out of the list.

What it takes to be on this list

A tool earns a place here only if its own CitedIndex listing documents tracking of Google AI Overviews specifically, the AI-generated summary block at the top of Google search results, sourced from that listing's own tagline, pricing page, feature copy or FAQ. Tools that track only ChatGPT, Perplexity or other AI assistants without documenting Google AI Overviews are excluded. Tools that mention AI Overviews only on a custom-quoted Enterprise tier are noted individually rather than folded in with the rest. Verified against each tool's own already-sourced CitedIndex listing, re-checked against the current corpus on 2026-08-24.
