Sentiment Analysis and AI Traffic are the differentiators: AI Traffic tells you which competitor landing pages are actually capturing AI-referred visits, not just which brands are being named.

Engine coverage is the loudest practical difference. Both leave Claude, Grok and DeepSeek off the list. Ahrefs covers Microsoft Copilot where Similarweb does not; Similarweb treats Google AI Mode as its own surface where Ahrefs bundles it with AI Overviews. Neither is broader. They overlap on three engines and diverge on the fourth and fifth.
