AI-Visibility Tools With a Daily (or Faster) Refresh Cadence
The 9 AI-visibility and GEO tools in our index that confirm same-day tracking of their own AI-answer/prompt data — daily on most, a 72-hour window on one — spanning a $0/month BYOK tier up to $599/month, with the exact tier required named wherever the cadence is plan-gated.
We checked all 55 software listings in our index (excluding the 12 pure citation-services agencies, whose work is run by hand rather than on an automated schedule) for a specific, named check-frequency tied to the SAME feature each is actually listed for — automated re-running of tracked AI-engine prompts and refreshing of the reported mention/citation data — not a digest email or a fix-prioritization queue. Of those 55, 9 confirm a same-day cadence somewhere in their own tier lineup. Three state a clean, tool-wide cadence but it is slower than daily: SE Visible refreshes on a 7-day cycle on every tier; GeoRankers defaults to a weekly schedule with only 1-3 extra on-demand runs a month even on its paid tiers; and Directree GEO Monitor runs weekly on every tier — a limitation it discloses on its own listing. Two more use the word "daily" prominently but not for the feature this collection measures: Nightwatch's and Morningscore's own "daily" claims describe their classic Google/Bing rank tracking, not the separate AI-prompt-tracking module that is the reason each is in this index — neither states a specific refresh rate for that module — and Writesonic's "weekly" cadence describes its Action Center fix-prioritization queue, not the underlying visibility-tracking refresh itself. AthenaHQ is excluded for a different reason: its own credit-metered pricing means, per an independent review, that a handful of daily prompts across every tracked model can push a team into weekly-only checks within the same $295/month plan, so no daily guarantee could be confirmed.
Why this collection
A tool earns a place here only if its own CitedIndex listing states a specific check frequency — daily, hourly, real-time, or a named sub-daily window like 72 hours — for the SAME feature this index lists it for: automated re-running of tracked AI-engine prompts and refreshing of the reported mention/citation/sentiment data. A cadence claim about a different feature (classic SEO rank tracking, a fix-prioritization queue, an email digest) does not count, and neither does an unspecified "recurring schedule" with no stated frequency. Where the cadence is gated by tier, the cheapest tier that actually reaches it is named rather than assumed. Verified against each tool's own already-sourced CitedIndex listing, re-checked 2026-08-03.
- Frase
AI content platform that tracks brand citations across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI while optimizing SEO content.
Its AI Visibility Tracking module runs a fixed set of prompts daily against ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI, Claude and Gemini on every paid tier, including the cheapest $39/month Starter plan — engine coverage scales by tier, but the daily refresh itself doesn't.
- AIclicks
Tracks how often your brand shows up in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and AI Overviews answers.
Tracked prompts across its 10+ AI platforms are updated daily per its own listing, uniformly from the $59/month Starter tier up through Enterprise — the tier ladder scales prompt count and platform count, not refresh speed.
- Knowatoa
Show up in the conversation
Runs its tracked buyer-style questions on a daily refresh cadence against up to seven AI engines, with Daily data refreshes named explicitly as a $59/month Starter-tier feature that the $199/month Growth tier inherits.
- Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit
A $99/mo Semrush add-on tracking how often a brand is cited across ChatGPT, Google AI, Gemini and Perplexity answers.
The $99/month standalone add-on tracks 25 custom prompts daily; the bundled $199/month Semrush One plan raises that to roughly 50 prompts a day — both published tiers refresh daily, only the prompt volume differs.
- Gauge
A YC-backed AI-visibility platform bundling brand-mention tracking with an AI content-creation engine, from $599/month.
Its single named self-serve plan, Growth at $599/month, runs up to 600 tracked prompts a day across six AI platforms — the highest daily volume of any tool in this index, though there is no cheaper tier to reach it on.
- Rankshift
9-engine AI visibility tracking, paired with real AI-crawler log evidence.
Its nine-engine tracker runs a daily prompt volume that scales by plan — 150/day on the $82/month Starter tier up to 850/day on the $425/month Business tier — with no published tier dropping to a slower cadence.
- Surfer SEO
Content optimization meets AI-answer visibility tracking for ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews.
Its AI Tracker add-on refreshes only weekly (25 prompts, ChatGPT only) on the €99/month entry Standard plan; daily refresh requires stepping up to the €182/month Pro tier (50 prompts, all 5 engines) or €299/month Peace of Mind (100 prompts) — the entry tier alone doesn't clear this bar.
- RadarKit
A browser-based AI-visibility tracker that visits ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Copilot directly through real browsers instead of polling their APIs, from $29/month — but it doesn't track Claude, and API access is reserved for a custom Enterprise quote.
Its browser-based tracker (visiting AI engines directly rather than polling APIs) refreshes only every 72 hours on the $29/month entry Lite tier; daily refresh starts at the $79/month Growth tier, which also raises tracked-prompt volume from 15 to 50.
- geoSurge
A London seed-stage AI-visibility platform with a free, BYOK ChatGPT/Claude/Gemini tracker and an Enterprise-only "Corpus Engineering" toolkit — $12M raised July 2026.
The only tool in this index where a $0/month free (BYOK) tier lets the buyer choose their own tracking cadence — daily, weekly or bi-weekly — rather than the vendor fixing it; daily is available at no software cost, since the buyer pays only their own OpenAI/Anthropic/Google API usage.
