AI visibility tools that handle technical AEO
Bloomiro, GEO Tool, Semrush, ApexGEO and CiteMentor check schema, llms.txt or crawler rules; Amplitude, RadarKit and AISpy cover only part of it.

The short answer
Five of the ten tools here handle technical answer engine optimisation (AEO), meaning schema markup, llms.txt and crawler rules: Bloomiro, GEO Tool, Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit, ApexGEO and CiteMentor. Amplitude AI Visibility, RadarKit and Archytas AISpy cover one piece of it. AI Search Watcher and CisionOne AI Visibility only measure what AI answers say.
Which tools do it
- Bloomiro puts search engine optimisation and AI answer visibility in one project, for software marketing teams that want one dashboard. Its Site and Page Scan covers crawl access, robots rules, metadata, headings and schema. Bloomiro says it does not replace a log-file or enterprise crawl suite. Starter is $49 a month for 1 site, with a 3-day free trial and no credit card.
- GEO Tool is built around technical readiness, for buyers who want a fast read with no signup. Its free check of one URL scores robots.txt crawler directives, llms.txt, canonical tags, noindex, whether the page renders without JavaScript, and structured data. It audits a page at one point in time, so it does not show whether AI engines cite you today. The GEO autopilot starts from $229 a month.
- Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit adds AI answer tracking for existing Semrush customers. Its Site Audit AI Search Health widget scores schema markup, internal linking, llms.txt and robots.txt directives against eight named AI crawlers. The entry plan caps that audit at 100 pages. The standalone Base tier is $99 a month per domain.
- ApexGEO measures brand mentions and citations across seven AI answer engines, for brand owners and agencies who want audit and fixes in one dashboard. Its audit checks structured data and covers llms.txt, and ApexGEO says the product produces deploy-ready technical files. Starter is $15 a month on annual billing, with a 7-day free trial and no credit card.
- CiteMentor tracks AI visibility per brand and is sold to agencies running several client brands. Its Scan checks structured data, schema and on-page markup, and Optimize returns concrete structured-data and meta-tag changes. Plans start from $300 a month, but the pricing page sends buyers to sales and there is no free trial.
Which do not, or only partly
- Amplitude AI Visibility tracks brand visibility in ChatGPT and Google AI Overview inside the Amplitude analytics platform, for growth teams already on Amplitude. It diagnoses crawl and access problems such as blocked pages, rendering failures and paywalls. Its documentation describes no schema, llms.txt or crawler-directive generation. AI Visibility comes with every plan, including the $0 Free plan; Plus also starts at $0 and grows with event volume.
- RadarKit tracks AI answers through real chat interfaces, for small marketing teams and solo practitioners on a budget. Its free standalone tools validate and generate llms.txt files, but the paid tracking platform does no schema or crawler-directive work. Lite is $29 a month, with a 7-day free trial.
- Archytas AISpy is a free desktop tracker for solo consultants and small marketing teams who want to skip a monthly subscription; it runs on your own AI API keys, so the ongoing cost is your API usage. AISpy itself does not touch schema, llms.txt or robots directives. The company offers a separate free web tool that checks whether a domain appears in Common Crawl, and its consultancy sells technical audits of structured data and crawlability.
- AI Search Watcher from Mangools tracks brand mentions and citations across eight AI search engines, for teams already using Mangools’ keyword tools. It measures answers only, with no schema, llms.txt or crawler-directive tooling. Standalone it is $15.60 a month, billed annually.
- CisionOne AI Visibility adds AI answer dashboards inside CisionOne, for public relations and communications leads already working there. Its output is analytics only, with no schema, llms.txt or crawler-directive tooling. It has no public price; Vendr puts the median Cision contract at $12,625 a year.
What it means for a buyer
The first group shows what to fix on your own site as well as what AI answers say. Bloomiro, Semrush, ApexGEO and CiteMentor scan and track in one place; GEO Tool checks readiness at one point in time. If you choose a measure-only tracker such as AI Search Watcher or CisionOne AI Visibility, budget for a separate audit of schema, llms.txt and robots.txt.
