What marketing teams need from these tools

Start with the answer surfaces your audience uses. “AI visibility” can mean tracking responses from ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude or Perplexity, or from Google AI Overviews and AI Mode. Coverage varies: some tools omit particular surfaces, and a chat model is not the same as a Google answer feature. Check whether the tool supports your target markets and languages, too; some offer location settings, while others do not publish them.

Next, match refresh cadence and volume to the work. Monthly snapshots may be enough for a baseline, while active campaign tracking may call for daily checks. Products meter work differently: prompts, credits, projects, brands or fixed report scenarios. Compare the allowance and billing period on the actual plan you would use, rather than assuming all tracked models or prompts are included.

Decide what evidence the team needs to act. Named cited URLs, competitor comparisons, sentiment and crawler analytics answer different questions. A technical site audit is also distinct from monitoring AI answers. Check how the data leaves the product: CSV, a local database, MCP, REST API or a static report will suit different workflows. Finally, confirm trial terms, required payment details and who implements recommendations. Software that drafts or suggests changes may leave publishing to your team.

Amplitude AI Visibility

Amplitude fits growth or marketing teams already using its analytics platform, particularly if they want to connect AI-answer visibility with traffic and revenue analysis. Its covered surfaces are ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews; Gemini as a chat assistant, Claude, Perplexity, Copilot and Google AI Mode are not covered. The datasheet records competitor comparisons, sentiment, cited sources and recommendations. CSV export is capped at 10,000 rows, with larger datasets directed to a connected warehouse; there is no dedicated AI Visibility API. The feature is bundled into Amplitude plans at no separate price. The $0 Free plan includes 500 prompts and 2M analytics events/month; Plus starts at $0 and scales with event volume. Growth and Enterprise are sales-priced. Refresh depends on plan and configuration, so confirm the cadence that applies to your account.

RadarKit

RadarKit targets small teams that want monitoring alongside content and other agents. Its six tracked surfaces include ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, Google AI Overview and Google AI Mode; Claude is not tracked. Competitor monitoring, sentiment and cited-domain reporting can help explain changes, while the Plan agent turns gaps into tasks. Lite costs $29/month for 2 projects, 15 prompts and a 72-hour refresh; the vendor offers a 7-day trial without payment details. Growth and Pro refresh daily. The datasheet says there is no BI or warehouse destination, and its API-access answers conflict: one says Enterprise only, another says every plan. Verify API terms directly if that access matters.

Bloomiro

Bloomiro may suit SaaS marketing teams seeking AI answer checks and SEO scans in one workspace. It tracks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, Google AI Overview and Google AI Mode, but not Claude. Claude can connect as an MCP client to read Bloomiro data; that does not make it a monitored answer surface. Runs can be scheduled daily, twice weekly, weekly or fortnightly. Starter is $49/month or $44/month billed yearly for one site and 250 credits; each prompt costs 0.25 credits per model, and credits do not roll over. Its 3-day trial requires no card. MCP access is available, but no conventional REST or GraphQL API is documented. Scans cover technical issues including schema and crawl access; strategy and content production remain with the team or its partners.

Archytas AISpy

AISpy suits technically confident teams that want local data and control over prompt volume. It monitors ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode using the team’s own provider keys. The download is free and has no vendor-imposed prompt cap, but provider API usage can cost money. Scheduled runs only happen while the application is open. Teams can export CSV or XLSX or read the local SQLite database; there is no managed BI connector or built-in sentiment score. A desktop setup and provider keys make it less suitable for teams seeking a hosted dashboard with no setup.

auto-geo

This open-source CLI is for developer-led teams or marketers comfortable with command-line tools. It checks citations through ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Grok APIs, but not Google AI Overviews or Copilot. It can audit, generate and rewrite pages, then save citation checks locally. The MIT-licensed package is free; generated pages use the team’s own model API keys, with usage described as roughly $0.06 per generated page. There is no hosted dashboard, team workspace or scheduler, so recurring checks require a pipeline or cron setup. JSON output can feed a team’s own reporting, but there is no ready-made BI connector.

ApexGEO

ApexGEO combines monitoring with technical audits, recommendations and content creation. Its core set covers ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, DeepSeek and Google AI Overviews; Copilot is also dispatched, while Google AI Mode is not covered. Weekly checks are the default, and more frequent monitoring costs extra. Free includes 3 credits per month. Paid self-serve plans are billed annually: Starter is $15/month and Professional is $159/month. The free allowance may be too limited for ongoing monitoring. API access is on the sales-led Enterprise tier. Check brand and credit limits against the intended workload.

Nightwatch

Nightwatch suits teams wanting conventional rank tracking alongside AI answer monitoring. It checks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Mode and Google AI Overview daily, with on-demand checks also available. Citation reporting maps cited URLs to source pages, while its SEO tools include competitor tracking and content recommendations. Starter costs €79/month (about $89) on annual billing and includes 50 AI prompts per month; the 14-day trial requires no card. Nightwatch describes AI Overview tracking as experimental. API access, Looker Studio and white-label reports start at Professional, listed at €159/month (about $178), so check the tier if client reporting or data access is essential.

Trakkr

Trakkr offers daily tracking across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Grok, DeepSeek and Meta AI. It adds competitor benchmarking, perception analysis, crawler analytics and action playbooks. Growth costs $100/month for one brand and 50 prompts; Scale costs $500/month for 10 brands and adds REST API and client access. The 14-day trial requires card details and bills at the Growth rate if not cancelled. Drafts can be sent to connected platforms as draft posts, but Trakkr is not a CMS. Google AI Mode and Copilot are not tracked. Check whether the Scale tier’s added brands and access justify the price for your team.

Ubersuggest

Ubersuggest is a bundled option for teams already paying for its SEO suite who want a limited AI visibility read. Its listed coverage is ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overview; it does not track Perplexity. Personal costs $29/month and refreshes 10 prompts per project monthly; Business costs $99/month and refreshes 15 prompts biweekly. Enterprise is custom-priced and offers 20 prompts with weekly refreshes. The tool reports sentiment and competitor mentions, but the vendor says it does not offer API access. Its prompt limits and slower entry-tier refresh may not suit teams needing frequent or high-volume checks.

AI Visibility Report Group

This snapshot-report option may fit small businesses that do not need a live dashboard. Paid reports query ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok and Meta AI, but not Google AI Overviews, Copilot or Google AI Mode. Reports list cited sources and prioritized fixes. A free technical check is available; repeat monitoring is offered only as a prepaid 12-month plan. There is no API, live dashboard or continuous month-to-month subscription, so this is a better fit for a one-off review than week-by-week campaign tracking.

How to choose

Write down the answer surfaces, markets, brands and prompt volume your team needs. Compare those requirements with each tool’s actual coverage and cadence. Then decide whether you need named citation sources, sentiment, competitor comparisons, crawler analytics or technical page audits; these are separate capabilities, not automatic parts of an AI visibility score.

Match the reporting route to your workflow, and confirm which plan includes it. Check prompt or credit limits, trial terms and any provider API costs. If a product offers recommendations or content drafts, establish who will implement and publish them. Choose the option that covers your target surfaces and cadence within the team’s budget and reporting needs, without paying for functions you will not use.
