What agencies need from these tools

Start by listing the answer engines and Google surfaces each client needs. AI Overviews and AI Mode are separate surfaces, and coverage may vary by report or plan. Check prompt limits, brands, markets, and refresh frequency too: some products run daily, while others update weekly or meter use in credits.

For client reporting, check whether a tool names cited URLs, compares competitors, tracks sentiment, and offers exports or API access. A CSV export is different from a business-intelligence connector, and an API may be limited to higher tiers. Also distinguish answer monitoring from technical audits, prioritized fixes, content generation, publishing, and managed services; these are separate capabilities.

Finally, compare the buying terms as well as the headline price. Note the billing period, trial length, card requirement, and charges for extra brands, prompts, or reporting features. For an agency, a plan’s client capacity and access controls can matter as much as its engine list.

AI Search Watcher

AI Search Watcher may suit agencies already using or considering Mangools. Its eight named surfaces include ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Grok, Mistral, and Llama. It compares competitors, reports citations, and offers a REST API on every tier. Pro allows unlimited monitors and 500 prompts, each run twice per weekly update; Free allows one monitor and five prompts.

It does not cover Copilot or Perplexity, and Llama coverage does not establish tracking of the Meta AI assistant. There is no published BI connector, technical AEO audit, or content recommendation workflow. The vendor’s standalone price is $15.60/mo (standalone, billed annually). Free signup does not require a card.

GEO Tool

GEO Tool fits agencies that want a technical readiness check or an implementation service, rather than a self-serve monitoring dashboard. Its free, no-signup audit scores a page and returns prioritized fixes covering areas such as structured data, llms.txt, and entity linking. The GEO autopilot starts from $229 a month and begins with a call.

The free check measures readiness, not live citations. The vendor says monitoring is in early access: ChatGPT is measured daily, while Gemini and Perplexity receive periodic deep measurements. It publishes no API for page analysis, and its paid paths require engagement with the vendor.

SE Visible

SE Visible may fit smaller agencies and SEO teams already using SE Ranking. It tracks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and Google AI Mode, with daily prompt runs, competitor comparisons, sentiment, and cited domains and URLs. A REST API and CSV reporting support data workflows, though no native warehouse or BI connector is documented.

The five-engine set excludes Claude, Copilot, Grok, and Meta AI. The tool monitors answers but does not audit pages or provide technical AEO fixes. Basic starts at $99/month and includes 200 prompts and three projects. A 10-day free trial is available without a card; published coverage is seven markets and five languages.

Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit

Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit may suit agencies already working in Semrush. It combines answer visibility and competitor research with a site audit that flags issues such as robots directives and page structure. Its Sources report lists cited domains and URLs, and Brand Performance adds sentiment and positioning recommendations. Refresh frequency depends on the report: some data is daily, Brand Performance weekly.

The standalone Base tier is $99/month per domain and includes 25 tracked prompts. Each additional Brand Performance domain costs $99/month; each extra 50 prompts costs $60/month. The documented toolkit coverage excludes Claude, Copilot, and Grok. No public AI Visibility API endpoint or paid-toolkit free trial is documented.

ApexGEO

ApexGEO combines monitoring with audits and recommendations. Its core set includes ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, DeepSeek, and Google AI Overviews; the vendor also says Copilot is supported. It tracks citations and competitors, audits technical issues, and ranks recommended fixes. The Agency tier is $319/month, billed annually, with 200 credits per month and a seven-day trial without a card.

Check the operational limits: the default refresh is weekly, more frequent checks cost extra, and use is metered in credits rather than prompts. API access is limited to Enterprise. It does not cover Google AI Mode or Meta AI, and it is self-serve software rather than a done-for-you agency service.

CiteMentor

CiteMentor is designed around per-brand tracking and site scanning. It runs daily prompts, compares competitors, and turns scan findings into prioritized code suggestions. Published shared limits include 400 prompts and 72,000 AI responses per month, 100 keywords, and 10 scans per month; PDF and Excel exports are available.

Engine coverage is inconsistent across the vendor’s pages: the platform description names more engines than the plan cards, which list four. Confirm which surfaces are included, particularly Google AI Overviews and Claude. Pricing is not published, and there is no self-serve signup or free trial. Full API access is limited to Enterprise; specific cited domains or URLs are not documented.

Dageno

Dageno offers daily monitoring, cited-source evidence, competitor comparisons, and regional tracking. It also describes six agents and a separate managed GEO/AEO service, so agencies can assess both software and delivery support. Self-serve plans start at $79/month, but track only three selected platforms at a time. Starter includes one brand and 50 prompts; the full seven-platform set is reserved for custom-quoted Enterprise.

The vendor claims coverage in 86 or more countries and regions. Claude coverage is uncertain on published self-serve plans, although Copilot is in the listed standard set. The pricing page does not state which tiers unlock API or MCP features promoted elsewhere, so confirm access before planning an automated reporting workflow.

Nightwatch

Nightwatch combines rank tracking with AI visibility and source attribution. It monitors ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Mode, and Google AI Overviews, with daily checks and citation-to-URL mapping for ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. White-label reporting and Looker Studio integration are available on Professional and above.

Starter begins at €79/month (about $89) on annual billing, with 50 prompts and 1,500 AI responses per month. Its 14-day trial does not require a card, but billing follows unless cancelled before it ends. API access, white-label reporting, and Looker Studio require Professional at €159/mo (about $178). The vendor describes AI Overview tracking as experimental; Grok is not covered.

Trakkr

Trakkr monitors eight AI surfaces daily, records citations and competitor results, and offers crawler analytics, perception reporting, and content and site-fix workflows. Growth is $100/month for one brand and 50 prompts; Scale is $500/month for 10 brands and includes REST API and client access. Both plans have a 14-day trial that requires card details.

The jump from one brand to ten leaves no published middle tier. White-label client portals are a separate Scale add-on, and both plans include 50 prompts per brand. Its Accuracy report checks three assistants, despite broader eight-engine monitoring. Drafts can be sent to connected sites, but still require publication there.

BabyLoveGrowth

BabyLoveGrowth suits teams seeking content production alongside visibility tracking. It monitors ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude, identifies cited URLs, compares competitors, audits technical readiness, and can publish content to connected CMS platforms. Grow is €99/month (about $111) and includes 10 tracked prompts; Scale is €299/month (about $335) with 50 prompts. Both include a three-day trial.

The three-model set excludes Perplexity, Copilot, Google AI Overviews, and Google AI Mode. Each client website requires a separate subscription. Agency white-label pricing is €99 (about $111)/website/month with a €2,000 (about $2,241) one-time setup fee. Independent reviews report that output quality can require editorial work, so agencies should account for review before relying on automatic publishing.

How to choose

Write down each client’s required engines and Google surfaces, then check the plan-level coverage rather than relying on a headline list. Count brands, prompts, competitors, seats, and markets against the published limits. Compare refresh cadence and whether use is metered in prompts, responses, or credits.

For reporting, verify that cited URLs and competitor comparisons are available in the format your clients need. Check whether CSV or PDF exports suffice or whether your workflow requires an API or BI connector. If you need recommendations, distinguish a technical audit and prioritized fixes from answer monitoring. Treat content generation, publishing, crawler analytics, and done-for-you services as separate requirements.

Compare the actual buying terms: trial length, card requirement, billing period, and extra charges for brands, prompts, or features. Confirm client access and white-label costs before selecting a plan.
