Every tool on Cited·Index gets a link. By default it is nofollow — a directory that hands do-follow to everyone leaks equity and reads as a link farm. Put our badge on your site and we will make your link do-follow, at no cost, for as long as the badge is up.

  1. Claim your tool

  2. Paste the badge anywhere on your site

    A footer is fine. It has to be on a page we can fetch, not behind a login or a paywall.

  3. Press Verify

    We fetch that page, look for a link back to us, and flip your listing to do-follow immediately. No waiting on a human.

The honest terms

  • We re-check about every 14 days. If the badge is gone, nothing happens the first time, or the second. Your do-follow is only revoked after it is missing on3 checks in a row, and a single successful check resets the count. A redesign or a broken deploy will not cost you the link.
  • Put the badge back and press Verify. You get it straight back. There is no penalty and no cooling-off period.
  • The earned link is a true do-follow. You linked to us and we linked to you; that reciprocity is unpaid, so it carries no sponsored marker.
  • You can also just buy it ($29, one payment, permanent) and skip the badge entirely. A purchased link is marked rel="sponsored" — that is followable and declares the paid relationship, which keeps both of us on the right side of Google's rules. The badge route is free and unmarked; the paid route is instant and needs nothing on your site. Both are honest; pick whichever suits you.
  • We will not quietly downgrade you. Placement and link rel are separate here: paying for Featured or Premium changes where your tool appears, never whether your link is followed.
