# GEO tools for ChatGPT and Claude

The free, MIT-licensed auto-geo package costs only your own LLM API usage, at roughly $0.06 per generated page. Bttr. starts at $3,500 a month. Five members quote through sales: 5W Public Relations, Addlly AI, Brandlight, Conductor, and Canonry for everything past its free self-hosted version.

The split that matters most is how you buy. AEOlens, auto-geo, BabyLoveGrowth and CiteLens offer self-serve signup. Addlly AI, Bttr., Canonry and Conductor offer it only in part. 5W Public Relations and Brandlight do not offer it at all. Bttr. and 5W Public Relations are agencies that run the program for you.

Addlly AI, auto-geo, BabyLoveGrowth, Conductor and 5W Public Relations also produce content, so tracking and writing can sit with one vendor. CiteLens does not generate content. Engine reach beyond the pair varies. Conductor also tracks Gemini, Grok, Microsoft Copilot and Google AI Mode. BabyLoveGrowth stops at three models.

| Name | What it is | Why it's here | Pricing | API |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [5W Public Relations](https://citedindex.com/5w-pr.md) | PR agency with an AI visibility practice: citation source audits, GEO programs and monthly citation reporting. | A PR agency with an AI visibility practice, 5W Public Relations puts ChatGPT first in every engine list and includes Claude in its client audits. Its published research weights Claude for professional and B2B use cases. No rate card is published, and every program begins with a sales conversation and a strategist call. | On quote | No |
| [Addlly AI](https://citedindex.com/addlly-ai.md) | Enterprise GEO platform that audits AI answer citations and produces the optimised content itself. | Addlly AI audits AI answer citations and produces the optimized content itself. ChatGPT and Claude are both named choices on the entry plans. Prices are scoped after a discovery call, and a team that wants Addlly to run the program has to step up to the custom Enterprise tier. | On quote | No |
| [AEOlens](https://citedindex.com/aeolens.md) | AEO/GEO platform combining a 48-check site audit with weekly buyer-question tracking across five AI engines. | AEOlens charges $35 a month for Starter and keeps a free tier of one scan a month. Its buyer simulation queries five models, ChatGPT and Claude among them, beside a 48-check site audit. Copilot and DeepSeek fall outside that set, and the Slack and Discord integrations are marked beta. | Free, then $59/month | Yes |
| [auto-geo](https://citedindex.com/auto-geo.md) | Open-source CLI that audits, generates and rewrites pages for AI-search citation, then measures engine citations. | Open source and command-line only, auto-geo audits and rewrites pages for AI-search citation, then checks citations through OpenAI's Responses API and Anthropic's Messages API. It reads those provider APIs, not the ChatGPT or Claude apps. There is no dashboard at all, a real barrier for marketers who are not technical. | Free | Yes |
| [BabyLoveGrowth](https://citedindex.com/babylovegrowth.md) | Automated SEO/AEO article production, backlink exchange and AI-answer visibility tracking for small teams. | From €99 (about $111) a month on Grow to €299 (about $335) a month on Scale, BabyLoveGrowth sends every tracked prompt to three models, including ChatGPT and Claude. The vendor also ships a read-only MCP server aimed at Claude. Google AI Overviews and Microsoft Copilot are not tracked. | From €99/month (about $111) | Yes |
| [Brandlight](https://citedindex.com/brandlight.md) | Enterprise AI visibility platform sold as a managed program with dedicated AI strategists. | Aimed at marketing leaders at Fortune 500 brands, Brandlight sells AI visibility as a managed program with dedicated AI strategists. Claude is on its covered list, and the vendor swaps it in for Copilot in markets where Copilot sits behind a paywall. No pricing is published, and seeing the product in any real form takes a sales conversation. | On quote | No |
| [Bttr.](https://citedindex.com/bttr.md) | Agency-run AI search visibility: weekly citation tracking, pillar content, schema and per-engine moves. | Starting at $3,500 a month, Bttr. runs AI search visibility as an agency, with weekly citation tracking on a four-engine panel that includes ChatGPT and Claude. Cadence on Claude is weaker. The vendor itself recommends reading it quarterly rather than weekly, because the signal moves on model-release cycles. | From $3,500/month | Yes |
| [Canonry](https://citedindex.com/canonry.md) | AI search visibility tracking plus AEO delivery, as an open-source platform, agency products and managed service. | Free to self-host, Canonry counts ChatGPT and Claude among the five engines the vendor says it focuses on, and its sentiment feature classifies Claude's answers. Self-hosting means supplying your own Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic and Perplexity API keys plus a Node.js 22.14+ runtime. Managed and white-label versions are quoted by sales. | Free | Yes |
| [CiteLens](https://citedindex.com/citelens.md) | Tracks brand mentions and domain citations inside AI answers, with competitor benchmarks and GEO audits. | Claude with web search is the third engine CiteLens runs live, next to ChatGPT and Perplexity. Starter is $79 a month, and there is a free plan. Brand mentions and domain citations are reported as two separate metrics. API access needs Pro at $599 a month or above. | Free, then $79/month | Yes |
| [Conductor](https://citedindex.com/conductor.md) | Enterprise AEO platform: AI visibility tracking, content generation, 24/7 site monitoring and API/MCP access. | Conductor tracks ChatGPT twice, once in its default Auto experience and once in forced web Search mode. Claude is tracked on its default Sonnet model but is left out of many country-level locations. Contracts are custom, and Vendr-reported real deals run $26,800 to over $500,000 a year. | On quote | Yes |

## What it takes to be on this list

Each tool here queries both ChatGPT and Claude, while the rest of the GEO and content optimization category reaches one of the two at most. The list runs alphabetically. Before buying, check which plan carries Claude. AEOlens leaves it off its plan cards' platform list, and CiteLens ties the number of engines to the plan you pay for. Check too whether a tool reads the consumer apps or calls the providers' APIs directly.
