_Conductor, BrightEdge and Meltwater GenAI Lens fit enterprise teams; check engine coverage, data access, security and contract terms before you buy._

## The short answer

[Conductor](/conductor) suits enterprise search engine optimization (SEO) and content teams that want AI visibility tracking, classic SEO, content generation and technical monitoring in one platform. [BrightEdge](/brightedge) suits enterprise SEO teams tracking rankings and AI search visibility across markets. [Meltwater GenAI Lens](/meltwater-genai-lens) suits public relations (PR) and communications teams already on Meltwater that want AI answers watched next to their media monitoring.

## The picks

### Conductor

Conductor tracks brand mentions, citations and sentiment across seven AI surfaces, including ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode and Microsoft Copilot. Its Data API lets a team's own internal tools pull the same data. There is no public price: Vendr reports deals from $26,800 to over $500,000 a year (median $48,950). A 3-week free trial covers Creator, Intelligence and Monitoring. Creator, the content module, is a fixed pipeline, so a team with its own research step or workflow cannot add it there.

### BrightEdge

BrightEdge says its AI Catalyst tracks brand mentions and citations across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, AI Mode and Gemini. Its Data Cube X adds keyword research and rank tracking across 24 countries, built on 10 years of historical search data. It has an API and exports to business intelligence tools. Pricing goes through sales; Vendr puts median annual spend around $50,000, ranging from $42,492 to $68,936 across 46 purchases. With no free trial, buyers start with a sales conversation.

### Meltwater GenAI Lens

GenAI Lens runs custom prompts every 24 to 48 hours against ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, DeepSeek and Microsoft Copilot. It tracks sentiment and Share of Model, a brand's mention share against named competitors. It is sold as a custom, prorated add-on to a Meltwater subscription with a 12-month minimum term; Meltwater does not publish its cost. Vendr reports base-platform contracts of roughly $15,000 to over $150,000 a year (median about $25,800). It has no API for the AI-visibility data, so it reaches other software only through exports.

### CisionOne AI Visibility

[CisionOne AI Visibility](/cision-ai-visibility-dashboard) adds dashboards, powered by Trajaan, that track brand, competitor and topic presence across nine AI platforms, including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, DeepSeek and Google AI Mode, with trends over time. It fits PR leads already running CisionOne. It has no public price and requires a CisionOne subscription; Vendr's figures from 107 purchases put the median Cision contract at $12,625 a year, ranging roughly from $3,150 to $30,368 a year. Microsoft Copilot is not covered, so a team whose buyers ask Copilot gets no reading there.

### ApexGEO

[ApexGEO](/apexgeo) measures brand mentions and citations across seven AI engines, including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot and DeepSeek, and pairs an audit with recommended fixes ranked by impact, confidence and effort in one dashboard. It fits brand owners and agencies that want ongoing measurement. Plans run from Starter at $15 a month to Enterprise from $999 a month, billed annually, with a 7-day free trial and no card required. Its independent security certifications (SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001) have target dates in 2027, so a security review that requires them cannot pass today.

### Rankshift

[Rankshift](/rankshift) tracks brand and competitor presence across nine AI engines, among them ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Meta AI and Google AI Mode, with unlimited projects and seats. It fits teams that want broad engine coverage and are comfortable with a newer vendor. Its Agent Analytics logs AI-bot visits to your site on every self-serve tier, and it has an API and business intelligence export. It starts at €77 a month (about $87), or from $82 a month billed annually, with a 30-day free trial. Prompts are added one at a time, so tracking hundreds of queries is manual and slow.

## What to check before you buy

- **Engine coverage.** Match the engines to where your buyers ask. Conductor does not cover Meta AI or DeepSeek; Rankshift does not cover Grok or DeepSeek.
- **Data access.** Conductor, BrightEdge, ApexGEO and Rankshift have an API; Meltwater GenAI Lens has none for its AI-visibility data.
- **Security today.** Ask which certifications and data locations are in place now. ApexGEO's certifications and its European and Asia-Pacific data residency are both 2027 targets.
- **Base subscription and term.** CisionOne AI Visibility and Meltwater GenAI Lens need their parent platforms, and Meltwater sets a 12-month minimum term.
- **Free trial.** Conductor offers a 3-week trial, Rankshift 30 days and ApexGEO 7 days; BrightEdge, Meltwater GenAI Lens and CisionOne AI Visibility start with a sales conversation.
